Together, he and Lola built a home and a life full of the things they loved. Now offered at auction, this auction presents a lifetime of carefully gathered personal property to the public for the first time. This auction delivers an exceptional cross-section of American antiques and collectibles, headlined by a Tiffany & Co. sterling silver gravy ladle dated 1871 in its original Union Square presentation box - a standout piece by any measure. Precious metal buyers will find plenty to pursue, including an 18K gold Byzantine chain necklace and bracelet set (~33 grams), a 254-gram sterling silver lot, and 133 pre-1965 silver dimes. Glass collectors won't want to miss the extensive Seneca Glass holdings in the red Driftwood pattern, Blenko, Morgantown, carnival, and depression glass, complemented by a large accumulation of Spode Christmas pieces spanning platters, wine glasses, dishes, mugs, and more. Regional pottery is well represented with multiple lots of Blacksville Pottery and a T.F. Reppert stoneware jug. Furniture highlights include an East Lake marble-top dresser with glove boxes and mirror, large oak China cabinet, Mission style oak rocker, and a substantial 20-gun cabinet.
