Scherell 8 x 57R Double Rifle built on an Anson & Deeley box lock action with Greener top bolt and side clips. This gun is in beautiful condition inside and out and is another rare example of a double rifle which rises to the shoulder like a good shotgun. It has 23 1/2" barrels and weighs 6 lbs., 14 oz. Modest engraving is present on the receiver, with relief oak leaves carved into the action reinforce. There are three scope bases, but the scopes are long gone. Although undated, the gun was most definitely made between the wars. *WITH RESERVE*
