Measures approximately 10" tall. Antique salt-glazed stoneware advertising jar with bold cobalt stencil reading "A.P. Donaghho, Parkersburg, W. Va." Albany-slip glazed interior. Features a rolled rim and classic ovoid form. Displays typical firing characteristics and age-related wear consistent with use. A desirable example of West Virginia stoneware bearing the advertising of one of the state's best-known 19th-century potteries.
